Business · Motherhood

Maybe this time feels different.

Building the home for all my pieces.

Maybe this time feels different.

I've spent years thinking I needed another idea.

Another business.

Another fresh start.

Another opportunity.

Because maybe the last one wasn't the one.

But lately I've realised something.

It was never the ideas that were missing.

It was the belief that I could actually finish one.

I've started more projects than I could ever count.

Some were good.

Some weren't.

Some taught me expensive lessons.

Some quietly disappeared before anyone ever saw them.

Every time I'd get close to launching, another idea would arrive and convince me to start again.

A new logo.

A new website.

A new direction.

A new plan.

And somehow I'd find myself back at the beginning.

Again.

It looked like I was constantly moving.

In reality, I was often just running in circles.

This website is probably the first time I've slowed down long enough to realise that.

I'm not chasing perfection anymore.

I'm building a home.

A place where all the different pieces of my life actually belong together.

Motherhood.

Business.

ADHD.

The wins.

The meltdowns.

The funny moments.

The projects that worked.

And the ones that absolutely didn't.

For the first time in a long time, it doesn't feel like I'm trying to become someone else.

It feels like I'm finally building something that actually looks like me.

Maybe that's why I'm finding it easier to keep showing up.

Not because everything is suddenly easy.

Far from it.

I'm still overwhelmed.

I still get distracted.

I still have days where I wonder what on earth I'm doing.

But now I have somewhere to come back to.

Somewhere that reminds me why I started.

If you're reading this while you're halfway through building something—whether that's a business, a dream, or simply trying to hold your family together—I hope you don't mistake slow progress for failure.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do isn't starting something new.

It's staying with the thing you've already started.

And today...

That's exactly what I'm choosing to do.
