Trying to Find Me Again.

I'm not chasing a six-pack.
I'm not training for a marathon.
And I definitely don't have dreams of becoming a fitness influencer.
I'm just trying to find... me.
Somewhere between mum'ing', raising five incredible children, building businesses, surviving on cold cups of tea and constantly putting everyone else first...
I seem to have misplaced myself.
Both physically & mentally.
Some days I look in the mirror and recognise my face, but not the woman looking back.
She looks tired.
She looks overwhelmed.
She looks like she's carrying the weight of everyone else's world on her shoulders and her own extra pounds!
And honestly?
She deserves a little kindness.
So that's where this journey begins.
Just one decision.
To start showing up for myself again.
I'm attempting to move my body a little more.
Drink a little more water.
Choose food that fuels me instead of whatever I can grab.
Will I cave? Almost certainly.
Will I get up again and try and try again?
Absolutely.
Will I skip workouts because life happens?
Positively yes.
Will there be days where I convince myself carrying a toddler counts as strength training?
One hundred percent.
Because this isn't about perfection.
It's about progress.
It's about proving to myself that I'm worth the effort too.
I've spent years cheering everyone else on.
Now it's my turn.
So, if you're reading this while also wondering where you disappeared to...
Come with me.
We might not know exactly where we're going.
There will probably be setbacks.
There will definitely be snacks.
There will almost certainly be days where the only exercise we get is chasing children around the house.
But we're going anyway.
Not because we hate who we are.
But because we deserve to feel strong.
Confident.
Healthy.
Happy.
This isn't just a fitness journey.
It's a "finding myself again" journey.
And I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
Which means you're joining me right at the beginning.
Let's see where this adventure takes us.
